In the Contemporary Modern Meets Hip-Hop Dance class, Holly Shaw teaches a new evolutionary dance class for teens where they are challenged to deeper levels of dance and come away with greater feelings of confidence and ownership of their art form. The class, set to a wide range of fresh hip-hop and contemprary music, involves contemporary dance training: control and release, isolation, and modern dance techniques which focus on variations of textures and energy, guided movement improvisation warm-ups, and a fusion of hip-hop and contemporary modern dance choreography.

Enrich your dancing with this powerful feminine extension! Create new pathways in body awareness! Be you a modern, tribal, flamenco, belly-dancer, or just lover of dance – you will benefit from expanding your movement language and experiencing a more authentic approach to moving!

It has alwasy been my mission in my choreography and classes to bring dignity to adolesence and highlight the beauty of this period in their lives. I challenge my students to dance "deep," and give them techniques to become as physically astute as possible. This allows them to harmonize their astounding physical capabilities with their growing bodies and spirits."

Create new pathways in body awareness, learn to shimmy and
undulate! Holly Shaw leads a technique class in control
and release easing you into your deeper self through movement.
Women only (sorry fellas) 18 years old and up. Whatever your
fitness level, you will be sure to have fun and learn something new!

Kids! Learn basic salsa skills while listening to hot South
American rhythms with Kirah Caminos! Also a hands-on percussion
session and intro to latin style instruments like claves and
congas! Great for both boys and girls, beginners, and children
of all ages!
